America Is Broken.

A recent poll has shown that a majority of Americans believe that the government is broken. This is, of course, true. However, I would argue that the American government has always been broken - that it was broken before it was ever translated from the page to practice.

Today, most Americans are extremely dissatisfied with the way the government functions. As the decades since WWII have passed, more and more of us have begun to swing towards the poverty line. The brief period of "good times" following the war gave the false impression that the American "way" was the correct one, and that it would lead to prosperity for all. However, war always brings periods of prosperity, and the economic failures came and went - only to come again with greater severity.

Now, sinking in debt, the American worker is confronted with a government, sinking under the weight of its own corpulence, that cares little about the welfare of anyone outside the barricaded walls of an outdated, broken, system. They hide behind their mansion walls, their security forces, their armoured cars (all of which we paid for), and the knowledge that the American citizen is powerless to do anything about it. We tell ourselves the old lies: "Our system may not be perfect, but it's better than anything else", and "We can bring change through elections". These statements are no more real than the "American Dream (which has been proven false by the repeated failures of the American system)".

So, how do we fix the government? We can't. America is broken far beyond repair - it never worked in the first place. The only solution to the problem is Communism. Marxism-Leninism has not been dis-proven or discredited. The failure of "socialism" in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe came as a result of a failure to follow the fundamental principles of Marxism-Leninism. The People's Republic of China, the last great "Communist" power, has slid so far into capitalism that a return to Marxism-Leninism would be nearly impossible. The Communist nations abandoned Communism - and are now suffering under the tyranny of capitalism and dictatorship.

The U.S. can solve its problems, and they can be solved by the full-hearted application of Communist principles.
